Field day friday 2

-->
Today was my second field trip of the year. This was actually pretty much the entire day except the blog today. The field trip was to an opera named Madama Butterfly. Though the opera was a tear jerker with loads of drama I actually enjoyed much more then I had expected to. Including the almost front row seats this was not a night to forget. Though I dislike the thought of most an entire program entirely in song it actually wasn't that bad. But lets start from the beginning.

Today started with putting on a purple polo shirt and my khaki pants just to leave in about thirty minutes afterward.

 I then loaded the car and headed out with Kristi to be picked up by Kristi's dad and then headed out to Kaufman center.

 Really nice place by the way but really confusing. For example, we left the parking garage to go to an elevator, went into another elevator, then one more to get an escort to where we needed to go to watch the opera. Though I believe that the opera was worth the confusion.

The opera started out with a man waiting for his betrothed to arrive so that they could get married and live in a brand new house they got. After the family finds out that the main character(Madam Butterfly) changed her religion to match her new husbands religion (Christianity) they renounced her and left the house screaming her name. Fairly Interesting beginning if you ask me. This play only gets better as you realize that Butterfly's new husband shortly after getting married leaves her for America. and the fact that I could also go up and see the orchestra pit easily durring intervals was really cool.
